我要评论6 月 22 日消息，自 evga 宣布退出显卡市场后，kingpin 顶级显卡系列于 rtx 40 系显卡停更。在最新一期 gamers nexus 节目中，vince lucido 本人宣布决定与 pny 必恩威合作。
在谈及为何选择 pny 为合作伙伴时，vince 表示：
他们热衷于进入极限超频领域。华硕、微星、影驰等其他公司已经在这样做了，我想去一个能真正产生巨大影响的地方，我觉得 pny 可能就是这样一家公司。
they are keen to dive into the extreme overclocking. asus、msi、galax the other companies they already do it. i want to go somewhere where i can actually make a big impact. i feel like pny might be that company.
vince 并未直接确认 kingpin 显卡产品将会回归，而是使用了“might”与“pretty good chance”的描述。
kingpin 目前正在对一块 pny rtx 4090 xlr8 gaming verto epic-x rgb 显卡进行测试，并制作了 xoc 超频 bios，这是他 13 年来使用的第一张非 evga 显卡，并暗示 rtx 50 系显卡有望于年底上市。

代码网注意到，聊到未来 kingpin 显卡的设计时，vince 表达了他对 rgb 的厌恶，将维持黑金配色方案，并不会推出白色版本。
